New Book on The Bee Gees: “Staying Alive”

THERE’S A GREAT BOOK ON THE BEE GEES, STAYING ALIVE: THE DISCO INFERNO OF THE BEE GEES.  It documents their rise to super-stardom, thanks to disco and their songs on the Saturday Nigh Fever soundtrack and the massive hit that the music and movie was, and their spectacular fall.

The New York Post has a great feature about it all and the new book.

“Nobody wanted to touch them,” said Simon Spence, whose new book “Staying Alive: The Disco Inferno of the Bee Gees” (Jawbone Press) chronicles the group’s meteoric rise and spectacular fall. “What happened to them was unprecedented in popular music.”
