The Hardest Things To Do

7 Jul

OFTENTIMES THE HARDEST THING TO DO is to not do what you want to do, what you think your gut is telling you at that very moment.  To not give in to the sudden instinct or desire to do something because you’re convinced at that very moment that it might make a difference. To not give into the emotion(s) of the moment that might be the loudest voices you hear – that drown out common sense and reason.

In those times it’s often hard to remember how good having discipline can feel, that every time you don’t do something, you get a little bit stronger.
