Anniversaries, Pt. 1

8 Jun

TODAY MARKS THE SEVENTH ANNIVERSARY of the release of the third album by your favorite band.

Anniversaries – regardless of how banal – continue to be a popular subject for journalists, bloggers, etc.  It’s an easy way to quickly create content though some of the anniversaries – like the example above – are also a lazy way to create content. When it comes to my favorite bands, while I decry the trend I also readily enjoy reading many posts about even the most inconsequential anniversaries. Often they bring back good memories, remind me that a particular album is better than I first thought it to be (or vice-versa).
